Together Foundation for Development and Human Rights implemented the awareness session on child rights for children’s parents and CSOs in Dhmar As part of child protection project, funded by Save the Children. targeting 65 participants ( 25 males-40 females).

During event, number of significant issues raised:

  • Giving an overview of the CRC, its optional protocols and its four basic principles.
  • Knowing the duties of various actors at society different levels for responding to child rights.
  • The importance of involving communities in promoting and protecting children rights which will lobby governments to fulfill their obligations in legislating laws and policies in order to achieve the best interest of the child.
