Saturday 10th December, 2016.

    Together Foundation for Development and Human Rights launched the training on the independence inspection mechanisms at detention centers and how to apply child-friendly justice on the cases of children in conflict with law during  10 -12 December 2016 , targeting 12 ( 10 males- 2 females) from ( MOSAL- Correctional  and Rehabilitation Authority -CSOs ) from Amanat Al- Asimah, Amran and Ibb.    As part of child protection project, funded by Save the Children.

            Numbers of significant issues raised:

  • Capacity building on independence inspection mechanisms, international standards  of  monitoring and reporting and how to prepare reports considering the principles and verdicts of children protection in the penal law for those under 18 years old.
  • How to strengthen and activate working on the non-custodial alternatives and applying Restorative Justice for children.
